Definitely! We do get repeat clients….and our satisfied clients recommend us to their contacts….so I am sure we are great to work with!
Since our designs are mostly for the current era, our style can be categorized as ‘Contemporary’. However, the work we produce is always a response to individual client needs, site context, constraints & opportunities, environmentally sustainable design principles and budget.
No. Since our expertise is in Contemporary Architecture, we prefer to leave the Traditional Kerala Architecture to the experts in that style.
We do not want to practice pseudo-traditional architecture in the name of Kerala style, as this is what is mostly happening nowadays with the confusion in design ending up being called ‘fusion’ style!
The initial consultation is a time for us to discuss your requirements and to see if you feel we are the right company for your project. At this time we will discuss your ideas and concepts and our experience and capabilities to deliver what you require. During the meeting you will be given the opportunity to ask any questions, or ask for clarification of anything that has been discussed.
Our first consultation meeting for all new projects are free.
As chartered architects with global experience, we provide a service that extends well beyond producing a set of drawings – we are skilled at identifying the aspirations and needs of our clients and we bring our special skills, knowledge and experience to all of our projects.
This is always the hardest question to answer!
Our fees are tailored to meet your specific project brief and the services you require. Some projects are best worked out on a Square feet rate whilst others require a Lump sum fee or a Percentage fee or we may suggest a combination of all three.
Great design takes time, so we definitely think we offer great value for money.
Yes. The amount depends on the project type and value.
Yes. After our initial consultation where the project outline is clearly defined, we will send you our Architectural consultancy proposal & financial offer.
On acceptance, this has to be signed by both the Client & TPA and will serve as the Contract Agreement for the project.
After the initial consultation we will liaise with you to ensure that you are completely satisfied and we will assess your ideas to develop a client brief. This will include a design concept which will explore the use and layout for the building as well as fixing your budget and construction timelines.
The finalized concept sketches will be later used to develop the Detailed Design.
No. If the clients have communicated their ideas well during the two sessions after the initial consultation, the design is usually approved in the second session, as per our experience.
No. We prefer to start the project from the scratch to ensure that our clients get the best design solution.
No. we prefer to design a project as a whole where the layout/plan compliments the elevation and where every element in the house has a role to play in the design.
Since most of our design experience are on successful projects outside India, which were designed without considering Vastu, our answer to this question will be ‘No’. To elaborate (as I know the next question will be ‘why not?’), at TPA, the most important factors in our design are natural light, natural ventilation, sun path, wind direction, building orientation, aesthetics and some other design parameters…..which is basically what constitutes the Vastu guidelines.
But Vastu nowadays has been misinterpreted. They scare the common man saying that if their house is not constructed according to Vastu, the house residents will fail in life, lose money etc. They are tapping the fear factor of the common man and taking it to an Unhealthy Commercial level. The way we see it, Vastu is now a thriving business.
As modern day Architects & Engineers, most of these vastu beliefs & principles are unacceptable to us when we design our projects.
So, we prefer not to follow such ambiguous guidelines or practices.
Every project is different and has different requirements and we will advise you of any other consultants that you may require.
For example, if a helipad is required in a project, an aviation consultant will be needed or for a hospital, a Medical Engineering specialist will be required etc.

3) Copy of the land deed documents
4) Copy of the Basic Tax Register (BTR) from the village office related to your site survey number
5) Detailed Project requirements
That’s a difficult one to answer! As we don’t want to offend any past or current clients, we’ll be tactful and say they all have exciting elements!
We would love to hear from you!
Get in touch with us to discuss your project requirements in detail and we can offer advice on the approvals process and the different stages of the design process.
A Consultancy Services proposal will then be drafted to suit your specific requirements.
